| A LETTER FROM KATIE
Dear sisters in Christ, Have you chosen your speaker yet for your next event? If you haven’t, I’d love to be your speaker. My heart's desire is to share with women the joy that I've found in following Christ Jesus. God the Father has gone to great lengths so we can know Him. I believe that intense joy in every area of life is rooted in the soil of intense joy in Christ. And we can know God the Father through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. I know that different events have different themes, and my delight is in custom tailoring a message that would most suit your event while making sure all the fabric of everything I say is held together by the thread of God's truth found in His Holy Word. Please contact me so we can discuss together a theme for your next event. Because He Lives, Katie Hoffman |
| Joy in the Lord |
| Knowing Christ |
| 1. Counting All Things Loss to pursue the excellency of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord. 2. Our Hope is in Heaven -Not wrapping up our hope in earthly circumstances, but setting our minds on things above instead. 3. The Power of the Resurrection -Understanding the power of the death and resurrection of Jesus. (This is great as a gospel presentation for a Women's outreach.) 4. Dealing With Anxiety and Frustration. By resting in God's sovereignty, believing in His goodness, and accepting His control, a woman can go from anxious to calmed. 5. The Power of Prayer. Christ has given us huge promises about prayer: If we ask anything in His name it will be given us. What does this mean? How do we believe that God will answer? What about when what we are praying is not God's will? A great topic to encourage the women to pray! |

| Rejoicing in the Daily Tasks of Motherhood
Long days, long nights, long to-do lists, and yet the years seem to fly by! How does this happen? When mundane tasks overwhelm each day, and the highlight of our week is that avocados went on sale—we can still find joy in every one of our tasks. And how can we do that? Find out as you listen to Katie share about Rejoicing in the Daily Tasks of Motherhood. Key Verses: “Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot.” Ecclesiastes 5:18 “There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God.” Ecclesiastes 2:24 “Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 Making Time to Pray… When You Have No Extra Time Is total silence necessary to have effective prayers? Do our eyes really need to be closed, and does our head really need to be bowed for God to hear us? Katie says no! She says, “As a mother, I know God hears my every prayer and the place and time doesn’t reduce God’s faithfulness to answer!” Learn how to fit more prayer into each day and multiply your results. Key Verses: “The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16 “Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.” Luke 18:1 |
