Katie Hoffman is the author of the Amazon Bestseller When a Mother Follows Christ, The Joy of Living for Jesus, and 70 Reflections on Trusting God.
As a speaker at women’s events, Katie has travelled throughout the United States teaching women about joy in Christ. She is passionate about teaching women that our coming inheritance as believers (as joint heirs with Jesus!) can be the basis of our joy here on earth, regardless of whatever may be happening in our lives.
Katie also speaks at MOPS and mom’s groups on topics ranging from raising children with godly character to sibling rivalry and strengthening your marriage.
As the mother of four children, with ages ranging from a teenager to a toddler, Katie’s greatest passion is raising her children to love and follow Jesus.
She has her degree in Biblical Theology from Calvary Chapel Bible College, but has fallen in love with the doctrines of grace and God’s wisdom in all He does.
Katie and her husband Todd have been married for over fifteen years and live in Fort Worth, Texas.
She loves homeschooling her children, having enough time to study the Bible, one full tablespoon of sugar in her morning tea (and even more if it’s coffee!), eating popcorn after the kids go to bed, researching health stuff, spending time with her husband, and knowing that the One who began a good work in her will be faithful to complete it.

Doctrinal Statement
Inspiration of the Bible–The Bible, with 39 book in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament, was inspired by the Holy Spirit (God-breathed) and is the only infallible, inerrant (in the original translations, which God has preserved), authoritative Word of God..
The Trinity–There is one God eternally existent in three persons–The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. These three are One..
Jesus the Messiah–We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory. He is both 100% fully God and 100% fully man..
Man–Through Adam, sin and death have passed upon all people. Man is now both lost and dead in sin, for all have sinned (Rom 3:10-12, 23)..
Salvation–We believe God predestined, before the foundation of the earth, everyone who would be saved. Through the Holy Spirit, God draws a person to Himself, imputes righteousness to him by faith in Jesus Christ, seals him for salvation, and enables the Christian to live a godly life.. (Eph. 1:4-5, Rom. 4:24).
Christian Living–Only a person who has been regerated by the Holy Spirit can do good works, as God has both prepared the good works for the believer to walk in and He enables them to do the good work. Apart from faith, good works only bury a person (who does not recieve the righteousness of Christ) more in debt against God (Rom.4:4). All believers, regardless of race, country, gender, or status, are united as one in the body of Christ..
Future Judgment–There will be a bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost– the saved to the resurrection of life and the lost to the resurrection of damnation
